Filmmaker, writer, journalist, Ph.D. in cultural studies. His guide “Jewish Bialystok” was published in the USA. He won several international film festivals with productions on Jewish themes. Member of the Association of the Museum of the Białystok Jews.
Founder of the “We are looking for Poland” association. Creator of the Studio of Film, Sound and Photography in Michałów. In 2016, he created the website www.jewishbialystok.pl. In 2018 he co-founded the Association of the Museum of Białystok Jews.
A pioneer in documenting Jewish cemeteries. Part of this work is available at www.bagnowka.pl.
The author of the script for the "Absent Family" project devoted to the history of Białystok Jews.
At the Jewish Festival in Krakow, together with Krzysztof Czyżewski, he received a diploma and a silver violin medal from the State of Israel in recognition of his activities documenting Jewish heritage.
Winner of many awards, including the Zygmunt Gloger Award and the Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship Award.
2018 Polin Award laureate.
