9 members of the Association of the Museum of Białystok Jews win the POLIN Award

Culture animator at the Jacek Kuroń Educational Foundation. Member of the Association of the Museum of Białystok Jews.

Since 2015, she has been researching the history of the Jewish community in Białowieża. Creator of the Virtual Museum of the History of Jews in Białowieża www.jewish-bialowieza.pl. In 2009, she organized the installation of the first signs about Białowieża Jews - a monument dedicated to their memory and an information plaque on the main street, where 30 descendants of Białowieża Jews came to unveil. The author and producer of the project "Survivor from Białowieża" and "From Białowieża to Israel, from Israel to Białowieża". Together with director Joanna Troc, she created and produced the play "Neighbours who are no longer here" based on stories collected by her from the eldest Białowieża residents about the Jewish community. She organizes workshops on the history of Jews, collects interviews, contacts descendants, organizes meetings, concerts and performances about Jewish heritage at her Theater in a barn in Teremiska.

Awarded Honorable Mention 2019 Polin Prize, "Protecting Memory" Prize 2020 by the Israeli Embassy in Poland, the Michael Traison Fund for Poland, the Jewish Historical Institute, Galicia Museum and JCC Kraków. She cooperates with the Forum for Dialogue foundation, belongs to the group of Leaders of Dialogue, as well as to the coaching team of the Foundation. She conducts School of Dialogue workshops with young people all over Poland. Currently, she is working on a Ph.D. dissertation on the history of Jews in Białowieża.
