Ełk - Lyck - train station anti-Jewish signs
After 1933
A plaque with an anti-Jewish inscription at the train station in the
city of Lyck/Elk, which was located at the entrance, from the mid-1930s, after the Nazis came to
power, and probably remained there until the end of World War
II.
"Wer beim Juden kauft, ist ein Volksverräter!" - "Whoever buys from
a Jew is a traitor to the nation."
