A two days cultural event titled "Under the same sky" will remind us that Lomza used to be a multireligious and multinational city until WWII especially in the 19th century.
The event will take place on May 24th and 25th, 2019.
A various happenings will be held during the event. On Friday, May 24th at 6pm, there will be Mark Podwal's paintings exhibition. The artist's mother was born in Dabrowa Bialostocka and based on her stories and his several visits to Poland, Mark have created some very meaningful paintings.
Maria Bauchrowicz-Tocka ("Everyday life in multicultural Lomza") and Slawomir Zgrzywy ("Streets and town houses - a prewar Lomza and its habitants") will give lectures about multicultural reality of Lomza.
On Saturad, May 25th at 6pm, Marta Gosk will give
her speech ("a Pastor Kacper Mikulski - servant of God and the Motherland") and Anatol Borowik will
give his concert called "Faith, Hope and Love". Borowik is a propagator of Bulat Okudzhava's
artistic work.
