Zabłudów

In "Księga Pamięci Zabłudowa" Finia Korowski mentions devastation of the Jewish necropolis: "The Germans wanted to triple the width of the road running from Białystok to Moscow (...). They needed stones to build it,  therefore they started to disassemble the Jewish cemetery. Clandestinely we were entering into rabbis and zaddik's ohels and weeped bitterly for our calamity." (JT)
