A graduate from the Fine Arts Academy in Cracov, married to a lawyer from Bialystok - Beno Bernzweig -  she lived in Bialystok for a few years until the outbreak of World War II. She was a portrait painter and the author of portraits of manufacturers' wives.  After Bialystok was taken by the Soviet army, to the order of the authorities she was painting portraits of the new authority officials and representatives. After the Nazi army took over Bialystok she was placed in ghetto and worked at Oskar Steffen copysits workshops .
