Chaim Tyber
1912 [1913?] - 1943

Born in Kutno, went to school in Łódź and studied in Fine Arts Academy in Warsaw. He made painting, graphics and drawings on the Jewish subject, genre and religious scenes (Jom Kipur, a Jew lighting the chanuka candles).  He exhibited his works in Żydowskie Towarzystwo Krzewienia Sztuk Pięknych in Warszawie (jid. Jidiszer Gezelszaft cu Farszprajnt Kunst) and lived in Kutno. As many other artists, after the II world war breakout he came to Białystok and was participating in artistic live of those times, for example he took part in exhibitions in Mińsk and Moskwa. After the Nazists took over Białystok he landed in ghetto.
