As a result of the devastation of World War II
for many years, the cemetery remained stripped from tombstones. In 2005, the campers
Lauder Foundation brought to the cemetery one-found tombstone. dozen or so tombstones - used as the foundation
of one of the nearby buildings - returned to the cemetery in autumn 2007, after
the intervention of K. Bielawski. Several tombstones located in the Skansen
Kurpiowski in Nowogród, but they are not part of the permanent exhibition. (kirkuty.xip.pl)
