On 11th August at 12

we invite you to Białowieża for the solemn unveiling ceremony of the monument sacred to the memory of the Holocaust of the Jewish community of Bialowieza, for which will arrive descendants of Jewish Białowieża’s residents from USA and Israel. Rabbi Symcha Keller will take part in the ceremony. The ceremony will take place in the Memorial Site in a former gravel pit near Podolany, near to the near the Jagielońskie Forest Education Center in Białowieża, place of execution of 77 men and Jewish boys from Białowieża on August 10, 1941.

At 7 pm we invite you to the Theatre in Teremiski for performance played by youth form Białowieża and neighborhood called “ Neighbours, who are not here”, in which young people tell the stories about Jewish neighbors, about which Katarzyna Winiarska found out from the oldest residents.
