My grandfather, Israel Jacoby, was from Trestina, and one of 12 brothers and sisters. His father, my mother told me, was Nathan Jacoby, and they owned and ran a brush factory, using boar bristles, and employed non-Jews, since Jews would not touch the non-Kosher boars. His wife`s maiden name was Grossman. I have some photos of them and his family and will send you those later. I heard from a cousin in Paris, about 30 years ago, that his sister, Elke Jacoby, survived the war, and was killed AFTER the war when she returned home. Elke has blond hair and that helped her survive the war, my mother told me. Some of his brothers came to the USA, and some died in Auschwitz.
