Our area will host two unique screenings of the documantary movie „Przy Planty 7/9” by Michał Jaskulski i Lawrence Loewinger - at „Domek Pastora” in Łomża on July 6th, at 5:00pm and in the Cultural Center of Jedwabne on July 7th at 5:00pm
The movie talks about bringing up the remembrance of Kielce pogrom that happened on July 4, 1946. It shows the history of Bogdan BIałek actions that he undertook to go through all the conspiracy theories concerning those events, the denial of the pogrom in Kielce citizens and strengthening the mutual stereotypes of Poles and Jews trough all those years. So now, we can notice that there has been flourishing a little closeness between Kielce citizens and Jews, but it has its price as well.

"Przy Planty 7/9 / Bogdan’s Juurney” was made for around 10 years in Kielce, Israel and the USA. This touching story talks about the Kielce pogrom of July4, 1946 and its road to reconciliation.
The movie was granted to be the best documentary in Jersey City at International Television and Film Festival, St. Louis (St. Louis
International Film Festival) - The Award for the Best Documantary, Warszaw (Warszaw Film Festiwal about Jews) -Special Award, Warsaw (International Film Festival "Żydowskie Motywy")- The Main Award Złoty Warszawski Feniks".
After the screening there will be meeting held with Bogdan BIałek - the main character of the movie. the editor-in-chief of a monthly newspaper "Charaktery”, the CEO of Jan Karski Association.
