Joskowicz Abraham Iser was born in 1909 in Piątnica near Łomża.

He was a conductor, educator and composer.

He was a son of a cantor. He studied in Łomża and Vilnius. He studied music in Vilnius Conservatory of Music. He was a choir conductor, including the choir organized at Teachers' Seminar of the Jewish Society for Education and Culture "Tarbut" in Vilnius. He spent the German occupation in hiding, outside of the ghetto. 

He composed music to texts written by Jewish poets. 

A selection of his works was published in Israel in Prachim nugim collection.

He died as a victim of Nazism.
