A new gravestone has been placed at The Brańsk cemetery. It commemorates local Jews. A unique thing about the fact is that local authorities didn't have a clue about it. It had benn done by Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, together with Monika Krawczyk. And it was done in the old fashion manner, i.e. with no local authorities icluded. People's stupidity has no limits sometimes.

The same situation took place in Rajgród. The grave stone was destroyed after two months. We hope, nothing bad like that will happen in Brańsk.
