Yaron's mother was born in Białystok, on Mazowiecka Street. As a 14-year-old girl, in 1936, she emigrated with her family to Palestine. There, she met Yaron's father - Dov Guishovsky, born in Trakai. Yaron Gershovski is the pianist in The Manhattan Transfer, and he performed at the 10th Zachor Festival in Białystok (2017). (jk)
