Genia Grosman is one of the most mysterious artists. We have only few biographical details about her. She was born in Bialystok in 1910, studied at the Final Arts Departement of Stefan Batory University in Vilnius in 1933/34-1937/38 (she had a year off university in 1936/37). She took part in YIVO exhibition in 1935 as well as in "Young Jewish Painters Exhibition" in 1937 in Vilnius. Unfortunatelly, we know nothing about her later fate or whether she was in touch with ther home city.
