Tykocin. Cleaning works at the Jewish cemetery

Established in 1522
and figuring in the Register of Historic Monuments this cemetery is set just a few meters away from
the Synagogue at Kozia Street. There are probably around 100 graves. Today it is closed for public,
covered with grass and other plants and deteriorates. To change that situation we need to put our
hands to work!
We invite everyone who are not indifferent to what's gonna happen with this resting place of many people, regardless the religion.
If you can, please bring gloves, saws, pruning scissors, plastic bags etc.
