This year, the POLIN Award will be granted for the fourth time. Of the 110 proposed candidates from all over Poland, seven were nominated in the final. The Award is handed in by POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews to an individual, an organisation or an institution engaged in preserving the memory of the history of Polish Jews. The laureate will be presented during the gala at POLIN Museum on 12 September 2018.
The Competition Jury led by Marian Turski, the Chairman of the POLIN Museum Council and Vice-Chairman of the Jewish Historical Institute in Poland, pointed out 7 nominees out of both private persons and institutions. These are:
