Please join us at the grand opening of the exhibition called "Jews in Polish Army"
1st September 2017, 3pm at the main chamber of Grodno synagogue
The exhibition about Jew soldiers of Polish Army is organized by the Jewish Community of Grodno with cooperation with Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Grodno, Shomer International Association for Judeo-Christian Dialogue in Belarus, and "Kislev" Youth Project.
The exposition introduces the share that Jews had in fighting for the independence of Poland beginning from the First Polish Republic and then through the uprisings in the 19th century (Berk Joselewicz - Polish trador of Jewish roots, the colonel of Polish army since the 18th century) up to the end of World War II.
The exhibition was created thanks to Hadar Committee and in cooperation with Polish Citizenship Education Military Center, Polish Army Museum, Katyń Museum and Social-Cultural Jewish Association in Poland.
It will be open to visitors from 25th September 2017.
