"I am totally aware that Polish people were saving Jews during the Holocaust. The nuns were doing it to, priests were doing it as well (we used to call them a secular ones) and monks.There are many publications on that subject. Also I wrote a book about helping the Jews called Saving. Stories of Poles and Jews (2010). Big part of it is committed to the help that was given in monasteries. According to the research from 2007, there are forty priest and nuns among Poles who were awarded with the medal of Righteous Among the Nations. Nevertheless, I tried to make notes about those aspect that are written much less about. I'm taking my notes out of the shoe box of Bradshaw & Llyod - the British company with traditions that has been operating since 19th century. I care about specific information, details even. I'm not trying to be impersonal or objectivism deprived emotions. On the contrary, it's a very subjective perspective and my choice is  biased. It's my own box, after all."
