Rabbi Chizkiyahu Yosef Mishkovsky (1884-1946) was the rabbi of Krinik, a leader of the Aggudat HaRabbanim that united hundreds of Polish and Russian rabbis, and a leader and founder of the Va'ad HaYeshivot in Poland and Eretz Yisrael. He was a confidante of the Chafetz Chaim and Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinski and served as their emissary for many issues. After the Holocaust, he was active in the DP camps in Europe and helped rescue children from non-Jewish homes. The Knesset Chizkiyahu Yeshiva in Kefar Chassidim was established in his memory.
