Jedwabne - Baker Jakub (Piekarz Jakub Eliezer)
1914 - 2006
After thedeath of his father lived in Jedwabne. He studied at the Yeshiva Lomza, was acantor, then
was licensed permission shochet (ritual slaughter) and Mochel
(circumcision).In 1938 he went to America, which
saved his life. His mother fled to Goniądzand also survived the
pogrom in Jedwabne. He was a rabbi in New York,
